DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Child Passenger Safety Week\nRegister to have your child’s car seat inspected at EBC!\nDid you know that 60% of car seats are installed incorrectly? As part of Child Passenger Safety Week\, we are hosting a car seat check event at our Central Hub location.  Car seats will be inspected by one of EBC’s very own  Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians to ensure your child is safe while traveling on the road. \nAccording to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)\, automobile accidents are the leading cause of child fatalities.  In passenger cars\, car seats reduce the risk of fatal injury by 71% for infants and by 54% for toddlers.  This is one of the many reasons why EBC takes steps to provide families in need with the right fitting car seats and invite the community to come in for car seat checks. \nEnsure your child has a correctly fitted and installed car seat!\nIf you’re unable to register for our car seat checks\, check out The Right Seat by NHTSA to learn more about child passenger safety as well as resources to ensure your child is in the correct seat.
