Angela Poe Russell
Thrive Emcee, TV Journalist/Exec. Producer
Whether it’s interviewing a sitting president, co-hosting a daily television talk show, or developing innovative content, Angela has a remarkable ability to connect with people through the screen, face-to-face, on stage, or via the written word. She’s proven that ability through her twenty years as a multimedia journalist. Angela most recently co-hosted the iconic primetime television show “Evening” on KING-TV (NBC) and prior to that, “Take 5”, also on KING. She was involved in developing all aspects of this collaboration and was honored for her work with a prestigious Gracie Award in 2019, given by the Alliance for Women in Media for excellence in programming. She currently is a freelance content creator and public speaker, who believes strongly in the power of storytelling to educate and inspire.
It’s story time! We invite panelists with unique perspectives and behind-the-scenes knowledge of KidVantage that capture the true meaning of “What you give, we give!”
Meydenbauer Overture Lunch menu includes your choice of Seasoned Chicken or Tofu Salad. Both of theses options come with forbidden rice pilaf, green onions, red peppers, cumin roasted carrots, turmeric tomatoes, tahini yogurt sauce. *Please note that the Seasoned Tofu Salad is vegan.
Two delicious dessert options are available including Lemon Buttermilk Panna Cotta and Chocolate Crunch Cake.
At the Meydenbauer Center will be free, space is limited.
