KCHA and KidVantage: Partnering for Change
King County Housing Authority (KCHA) is one of the 75+ service provider agencies in the KidVantage partner network. The KCHA Early Learning Connector program sites in Kent, Bellevue and Shoreline order from KidVantage regularly for the kids in their program.
KCHA’s Lead Early Learning Connector, Graciela Sullivan shares a comment on her experience with KidVantage:
“I see the happy faces of the families every time I bring the diapers to their door, and I am infected by the happiness and positive feeling they experience every time they receive their diapers. (Many families have expressed a lot of gratitude to be able to be seen, and being able to have the diapers has been a great blessing for their lives, they no longer have to leave the diaper for very long hours to the child that made them rub and it has been a de- stress also because they can spend more time with their little ones in this first stage of their life teaching them various activities). Thank you for the invaluable value that Kid Vantage has made in the life of our community, thank you to all the donors, volunteers and other workers who work in the organization, for your charisma, your humility, your attention, your help when I pick up things every week in Issaquah. I feel very welcome!!”
