KidVantage has three certified technicians on staff, overseeing the purchase and distribution of car seats, and conducting car seat check-ups for the community.

Saying Goodbye to Our Founder
Karen Ridlon, our founder, passed away on August 20th after a difficult battle with cancer. She was blessed with her family by her side.
Karen launched KidVantage (Eastside Baby Corner) 33 years ago. With her knowledge as a pediatric nurse practitioner, her determination, and her will to make a difference in lives of children and families, she began the work we carry on today. Karen served as executive director until 2013, continuing her work of supporting partner agencies and providers for another 5+ years. She remained active in the organization, serving on the Board of Directors as Executive Director Emeritus, and on various board committees.
Karen’s family has requested donations be made to KidVantage in lieu of flowers. Online gifts can be made here or mailed to KidVantage, PO Box 712, Issaquah, WA 98027.
